Japanese "Professionalism"..

Japan's idea of "professional": Paying your taxes, pension and insurance from your paycheck like they're required to do by law? That has nothing to do with professional. Refusing to rent you an apartment because you're not Japanese even though that's an affront to human rights? That also has nothing to do with being professional. Asking for you a photo, your age, and your sex on a job application. Nothing wrong with that. Do you know what's professional? Wearing a suit at work at all times.. even if your menial task is replanting the flower bed in the hot sun. Now *that's* professional.
