船橋三番瀬海浜公園 Funabashi Sanbanse Kaihin Koen

This "beach" is a tiny piece of garbage-strewn land bordered on one side by some factories, and on the other side by some...factories. This, however doesn't seem to deter people from flocking here to collect and eat the shellfish as a family activity. The "beach" itself consists of sharp, broken bits of shellfish (which are also netted offshore). Some of these shell remnants have been ground small enough to be picked up by the wind and blown painfully into your face as the wind becomes stronger. This wind apparently makes the place popular with windsurfers as well.
